As more industries seek employees with upper-level degrees for management positions, best value MBA degrees in California are growing in number to meet the needs of the business sector. However, for some students, the cost of an MBA is daunting. According to Investopedia, students who obtain an MBA from many private business schools can accumulate as much as $200,000 in debt and expenses over a two-year period.

With recent reports stating that more than three-quarters of employers plan to increase hiring of MBA graduates and more than half of those employers plan to increase base salaries for those who have recently graduated, some higher than the rate of inflation, many students are choosing to go into debt in order to achieve higher positions in their company or to make a career change. Students are realizing that the demand for qualified talent is strong, and obtaining an MBA demonstrates talent, dedication and commitment to achieving goals. However, it is possible to obtain an MBA without going significantly into debt. In addition, with more schools offering flexibility in scheduling, many students are able to work full-time, meet family obligations and continue their education as well. These best value MBA schools were selected for this list because they are accredited schools with affordable tuition.
